Francisco Manuel Antunes Soares is Associate Professor, with Aggregation, at the University of Évora. He is also Professor at the Agostinho Neto University in Angola and at the Katwavala Bwila University. He was Vice-Rector of. Independent University of Angola, where he founded the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, and Vice-President of the Scientific Council of Methodist University of Angola, as well as Director of the Higher Polytechnic Institute Katangoji (Luanda). He co-founded and coordinated the MSc in Lusophone Studies at the University of Évora and co-founded the ACTAE – Center for Research in Political and Social Sciences, now associated with the NICPRI. He has collaborated in specialized journals with articles on Literature, African Literatures, Theory of Literature, especially in Portuguese speaking countries.
